Deep in the heartland of the United States, squished between the big bellied Minnesota and the towering Montana, you'll find the pancake-flat plains of North Dakota. Now, North Dakota can be a bit coy, often hiding behind its thick white cloaks of snow, but don't let it fool you. It's got more charm than a raccoon with a top hat. In fact, it's home to a group of kids who are as dynamic as a dozen squirrels on espresso. These kids practice capoeira, a funky blend of dance, acrobatics, and martial arts that originated in Brazil. Now, these ain't your ordinary kids. No, sir! They're the kind who can twirl like tornadoes, flip like pancakes, and kick faster than a mule in a hurry. One of these kids is a wild-haired whippersnapper named Ziggy Zephyr, or "Zigzag" for short. Ziggy is a capoeira master, known for his lightning-fast feet and his ability to transform into a human pretzel. But Ziggy is also known for his sense of humor. He once got tangled up in a handstand and spent the whole day walking around upside down, making folks laugh until they snorted milk out of their noses. These North Dakota capoeira kids, with Ziggy Zephyr at the helm, are a sizzling spectacle of sweat and smiles. They weave stories with their bodies, turning the flat North Dakota plains into a thrilling 3D canvas. Watching them, you'd almost believe the wind itself was trying to join in, swirling around their spinning bodies in an attempt to keep up with their dizzying dance.
