Montana is a place where the wild buffalo still roam, the trout leap out of the crystal-clear rivers, and the sunsets paint the wide-open skies with shades of pink, purple, and gold. Its inhabitants are as tough as the rugged terrain and as friendly as the prairie dogs that pop their heads out of the grasslands. But hold onto your cowboy hats, because Montana has a secret. Hidden amongst the quiet towns and sprawling ranches are leagues of kids who are stealthy, agile, and downright cool. They are the Kung Fu Kids of Montana, or KFKMT for those in the know. Using the ancient Chinese martial art, they can chop, block, and kick with the best of them, all while maintaining top grades and helping mom and dad out on the farm. Our hero is a young girl named Molly. With her fiery red hair, freckled face, and a determination as steadfast as the Rocky Mountains, she's the youngest and the toughest Kung Fu Kid in the state. Armed with a black belt in sarcasm and Kung Fu, Molly uses bad jokes to disarm her opponents. "Why did the scarecrow become a Kung Fu master?" she'd quip, throwing her opponents off guard. "Because he was outstanding in his field!" And with that, her adversaries would be rolling on the floor with laughter, giving Molly just enough time to execute the perfect chop and claim victory.
