Minnesota, affectionally known as the "Land of 10,000 Lakes," is not your average state. It's like a snow globe that comes to life with its icy winters and shimmering lakes in the summer. A place where the moose say 'good morning', the loons sing you to sleep at night, and the walleye fish are so big they could eat your sandwich. Now, amongst all this wildlife and scenic beauty, there's a tribe of brave and bold youngsters who go by the name of 'The Cornerstone Crushers.' These spirited kids are not your ordinary Minnesotan youngsters, no siree! They are the boxing whiz kids of the state. The ring is their playground and the gloves their best pals. Their leader is a cool imaginary character known as 'Mittens the Moose.' Don’t let the name fool you! ‘Mittens’ is not because of the cold or the winter gloves, but because of his hefty boxing mitts. He's an eight-foot-tall, blueberry pancake-loving moose, who's as tough as a Minnesota winter but as warm-hearted as a freshly baked apple pie. Mittens may have antlers that could skewer a dozen donuts, but he uses them to hang the championship belts, which the 'Crushers' win regularly. He is funny, often confuses his left hook with his right, and sometimes forgets that boxing doesn’t involve any hooves. But, that's what makes boxing in Minnesota fun! Remember, in the land of hockey and hotdish, these kids and 'Mittens,' punch not to fight but to unite!
