In the land of the glorious pine forests and the shimmering lakes, nestled in the northeastern corner of the U.S of A, lies the magical State of ME. Not me, as in you and me, but ME, as in Maine, where lobsters grow on trees (not really) and lighthouses have been known to whisper sea-stories to the ones who would listen (definitely not true either!). Yet, we call it magical because anything is possible here, which is why the kids who participate in Occupational Therapy activity have such a blast! Imagine this: An army of funny, brightly colored, imaginary monsters named the "Fidgety Fuzbies" that help these children. The Fuzbies love to play, dance, and run around. Their job? To help kids get better at day-to-day stuff. Things like writing with a pencil, buttoning a shirt, or just paying attention in school. But here's the thing, the Fuzbies are a little clumsy themselves. They might trip over their shoelaces while teaching a kid how to tie them or get so engrossed in a storybook that they forget to teach reading! But don't worry, they always make it right in the end. Together with the Fuzbies, the kids in ME turn Occupational Therapy into a kingdom of laughter and learning. They conquer mountains of mashed potatoes with their newly mastered fork skills, build skyscrapers out of blocks, and win epic races tied up in shoelaces. So, if you happen to see a Fidgety Fuzbie or a kid laughing as they learn, you’ll know you’re in the right place – the magical, mesmerizing, mirthful world of ME.
