Maine is a marvelous state, slipped into the northeastern corner of the USA like a secret treasure. It's a land known for its dazzling lighthouses, towering pine trees, and an occasional moose traipsing through a backyard. But what you might not know is that it's also home to the most extraordinary group of ping-pong prodigies! These aren't your everyday ping-pong kids, oh no! They've adopted an extraordinary imaginary friend, Ping Pongosaurus Rex, a dino-sized dinosaur who is crazy about ping-pong! A momentous figure with a tail that serves as a paddle and a roar that's loud enough to cause a mini tornado in the table tennis room. For every bounce of the ping-pong ball, Pongosaurus Rex lets out a hearty laugh that sounds like popcorn popping! These Maine kids are from towns as diverse as Portland, Bangor, and even the tongue-twister Aroostook. They gather every weekend to challenge each other to ping-pong matches that are as thrilling as a roller-coaster ride! Their games buzz with a special kind of energy, like a bunch of fireflies having a disco party under the stars. But the real magic happens when Pongosaurus Rex joins in. You see, when this enormous, ping-pong-playing dinosaur starts to play, well, things get hilariously chaotic. His gargantuan tail sends balls zooming across the room at lightning speed, ricocheting off walls, ceiling, and occasionally, an unsuspecting moose! The laughter that follows is as infectious as a case of the hiccups in a quiet library. So, while Maine might be known for lobster feasts and chilly winters, the ping-pong playing kids (and their dino buddy) give it a unique, joyful, and utterly unforgettable twist!

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.

At Skylemar, we understand that boys are full of energy and need to move to be their best selves. We recognize that boys have complex emotional lives that need to be nurtured with important connections and support to help them deal with the pressures of growing up. During the school year, they work to develop their intellect, and in the summer, they can hone the skills that will set them up for success in life. To make sure our campers get the best possible experience, we put all our focus into selecting, training, and supervising our counseling staff. We’re proud of our camper-to-staff ratio of 2:1, which is unmatched in the industry.
