Give your child the opportunity to learn a unique Olympic sport while building confidence, focus, coordination, discipline, and strategic thinking at ALLE Fencing Club in Fort Lauderdale. ALLE Fencing Club specializes in saber fencing and welcomes students from beginners discovering the sport for the first time to experienced young athletes preparing for regional and national competitions. Youth beginner classes introduce children ages 6–12 to the fundamentals of fencing, including saber handling, footwork, distance control, fencing etiquette, sportsmanship, coordination, focus, and basic rules. Junior programs are available for ages 12+ and help students progress toward competitive fencing. With experienced coaches and a supportive training environment, students develop both physical and mental skills while learning a sport that challenges them to think quickly, move confidently, and make strategic decisions. Advanced and Elite programs provide additional training for experienced fencers interested in tournaments and high-level competition. ALLE Fencing Club also offers private lessons for personalized instruction and skill development, as well as beginner-focused fencing camps that combine fencing activities with teamwork, confidence-building, focus, and fun.
It all began with Mrs. Eleanor Schulz, a founding member of the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church, who established Wellesley Nursery School in the Hills back in 1968. Mrs. Schulz served as the school's director until 1984, when Ginny Smith Alterio was appointed to the position and held it for a remarkable 28 years. Today, WNSH is proud to be a part of the Wellesley Hills community, serving families for over 50 years. We have even had the honor of having several of our students whose parents attended our school themselves. Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning environment for all children, and we strive to make this a reality every day.
At Art House Lab, we strive to provide an open, creative space for children to explore the visual arts. Our goal is to create a safe and engaging learning environment, where students feel free to express themselves creatively while developing their art skills. Wellesley Community Children’s Center, or WCCC, is a non-profit organization with a board of directors, administrative staff, and teaching professionals. The center offers infant, toddler, and preschool childcare through their Early Childhood Program, and school-aged childcare through the After School Program. At WCCC, the goal is to create an engaging, developmentally appropriate environment where every child is encouraged to explore and grow. Our teachers are committed to providing a hands-on, child-centered curriculum that encourages social-emotional development and lifelong learning.
