Once upon a time, in the beautifully brisk state of Massachusetts, a group of merry, energetic kids were always bustling with activity. This wasn't your ordinary adventure-seeking bunch, oh no! They had a participation ticket to the most extraordinary activity on the block - the Religious Service Activity Club, or 'RSAC' as they fondly called it. Participation felt like venturing into a mystical forest, filled with stories that were older than Granny Smith's dentures and more exciting than a tub full of rainbow-colored popcorn. Leading them on these escapades was their imaginary friend, a tall, goofy yet wise giraffe named Swirly-Whirly. He was not your ordinary giraffe, he had a quirky swirly-patterned fur and a tie that could change colors based on his mood. Swirly-Whirly, with his long, curious neck, would stick his head into the ancient books, pulling out life lessons in the most hilarious ways. He had a knack for making the children giggle till their bellies ached, while sharing the importance of faith, unity, and love. Whether it was creating funny metaphors with the scriptures or impersonating historical figures, he always knew how to keep the learning light-hearted and fun. The kids from Massachusetts who attended RSAC were a unique bunch, proud of their faith, full of questions and brimming with laughter. They were like a bunch of twinkling stars, ready to light up the world with their radiant smiles and hearts filled with love. And Swirly-Whirly, their favorite tall-tale-telling giraffe, was their fun-filled guide on this exciting journey of spiritual discovery and growth.

What began in a humble New York City apartment with just a single student, Spark, has since blossomed into an enriching program impacting thousands of children. Our services extend beyond the standard after school and weekend classes to include holiday and summer camps, birthday parties, portfolio preparation, private classes, and custom pods. We also welcome homeschool groups and are thrilled to announce the recent addition of a forest school program to our repertoire. You can find Spark on-site in various schools and at our main studio located in the Upper West Side. But we're not stopping there - we're also planning to expand to the Upper East Side and Brooklyn. For our families in Pennsylvania, we run the program from our family studio there. And if you're not in close proximity to any of our locations, don't worry. We offer in-home instruction and virtual options to ensure that Spark can reach you, no matter where you are. At our Church School, we strive to create a safe and inviting environment for our children to learn and grow in their faith. We offer a variety of activities and events for families throughout the year, such as our beloved Christmas pageant, Trunk or Treat, movie nights, and more. Our programs are designed to give children an opportunity to explore their spiritual journey in an age-appropriate and meaningful way. The Church School is a place where families can come together and enjoy the joys of the season. Our Christmas pageant is a beloved tradition, and our Trunk or Treat event (which has been reimagined during the Covid pandemic as a traveling Candy Crawl!) brings a lot of fun and excitement for all ages. We also host movie nights and other events to help families create lasting memories. We believe that by providing a safe and nurturing environment, we can help our children learn more about what it means to be a Christian.
