Every morning at the crack of dawn, right as the sun begins to play peek-a-boo with the mountains, the dojo doors swing open and in tumble the Karate Cuties. Leading the pack is our hero, the Karate Kangaroo, Kiko. Kiko, with his marsupial moves and black belt in belly laughs, is the heart and soul of the Mighty-Mass dojo. He hops around in his red bandana, teaching the kids the art of the ‘Kangaroo Kick’ and the secret of the ‘Pouch Punch’. With Kiko, every karate lesson is a belly-busting adventure. You'll find the Karate Cuties rolling on the floor, not from Kiko's kicks, but from fits of laughter. But don't let those giggles fool you. When it’s time to get serious, these kids transform into mini karate masters, their faces focused, their moves swift and precise. With Kiko cheering on, they break boards and the stereotype that karate is just about fighting. Give your child the opportunity to learn a unique Olympic sport while building confidence, focus, coordination, discipline, and strategic thinking at ALLE Fencing Club in Fort Lauderdale. ALLE Fencing Club specializes in saber fencing and welcomes students from beginners discovering the sport for the first time to experienced young athletes preparing for regional and national competitions. Youth beginner classes introduce children ages 6–12 to the fundamentals of fencing, including saber handling, footwork, distance control, fencing etiquette, sportsmanship, coordination, focus, and basic rules. Junior programs are available for ages 12+ and help students progress toward competitive fencing. With experienced coaches and a supportive training environment, students develop both physical and mental skills while learning a sport that challenges them to think quickly, move confidently, and make strategic decisions. Advanced and Elite programs provide additional training for experienced fencers interested in tournaments and high-level competition. At our program, we go beyond the traditional karate classes, requiring our students to show “Black Belt Respect” not only in the dojo but also in their home and school life. We emphasize the importance of home chores and homework and instill the value of self-discipline in our students. We teach a modernized system of karate based off of physics and logic that incorporates small circle Jiu-jit-su and Kenpo, arming our students with the skills needed to advance to the next belt level.
