With its hilly landscapes, salty sea air, and tantalizing towns, MA was as tantalizing as a fresh-baked batch of chocolate chip cookies. In this extraordinary place, there was a peculiar band of culinary crusaders, known as the Massachusetts’ Mini-Masterchefs. These culinary kids had a knack for kneading, a talent for toasting, and the audacity for adding just the right amount of sprinkles. Their leader was a jolly giant of a lad named Bubbling Billy Biscuit (or Triple B, as he was often called). For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
The Woods Hole Day Care Cooperative was founded in 1980 by a group of working parents from the Woods Hole area. Their mission was to create a local daycare that would provide a safe, warm, and well-organized environment for toddlers and preschoolers – from 21 months to 5 years old – to develop and grow. Today, the school works to ensure that the founding mission can be fulfilled. Administrators, teachers, guardians, and the larger community all work together to ensure that the children receive the best possible care and that their development is nurtured. The Woods Hole Day Care Cooperative is a community-minded day care center that has been serving the local area since 1980. Founded by working parents who sought to give children in the area a safe, caring, and stimulating place to learn and grow, the school has remained devoted to that mission for four decades. The day care provides a warm, organized environment for toddlers and preschoolers, and collaboration between the various stakeholders – administrators, teachers, guardians, and the wider community – helps to ensure that the children receive the best possible care.
