Once upon a time, in the heart-shaped state of Kansas, where the sunflowers grow as tall as giraffes, there thrived a community of kids; not ordinary kids, mind you, but wizard children with a superpower - the Power of Reading. These whizz-kids, known far and wide as the "Kansas Reading Rascals," were led by their fearless and funny leader, Professor Pumpernickel. Professor Pumpernickel was a sight to behold! With his spectacles perched on his comically long nose, a rainbow-colored bowtie that spun whenever he got excited, and polka-dotted socks that never matched, he could make anyone giggle just by strolling into a room. But, what made him super cool was his magical, ginormous book, "The Never-Ending Story," which held infinite tales from every corner of the universe. Every day, Professor Pumpernickel and the Kansas Reading Rascals would gather under the largest sunflower in the state. They'd sit around in a circle, eyes sparkling with anticipation, as the Professor, with a dramatic flourish, opened his enchanted book. As he started reading, something magical happened; the words took them on wild adventures, from pirate-infested seas to candy-filled galaxies! You see, with every word they read, their imaginations grew stronger, their laughter louder, their dreams bigger. They battled with dragons, discovered forgotten kingdoms, and even had unicorn races, all while nestled under their beloved Kansas sunflower. In the land of Kansas, these book-loving kids showed everyone that reading wasn't just about flipping pages; it was about exploring new worlds, becoming heroes, and having the most giggly, jiggly, wiggly fun! And every day, as the sun set over the sunflower fields, you could hear their joyous laughter, a testament to the magic of their reading adventures.

At our early childhood preschool and childcare program, we are passionate in our belief that those who work alongside young children and their families should be recognized as early childhood professionals. We recognize that these professionals deserve respect, rewards, and responsibilities that come with a professional status. In addition to providing care and education for young children, early childhood professionals are responsible for observing the health and well-being of children. They must be equipped to handle illnesses, implement accident prevention and emergency procedures, keep complete and current health records, as well as informing parents of community resources. We are dedicated to raising the profile of early childhood professionals and ensuring they are accorded the respect and recognition they deserve. The childcare industry is a fast-growing one and we believe that those who choose to make a career of it should be recognized as professionals. We think of early childhood professionals as the ones who have a huge responsibility to nurture and care for young children, and we are proud to provide a platform for these individuals to use their expertise and knowledge to make a difference in the lives of our youngest members of society.
