In the heart-shaped state of Kansas, where the sunflowers bloom like a yellow carpet and tornadoes sometimes do the cha-cha, there lives a wild bunch of kids who are masters of an ancient Japanese martial art known as Kobudo. These aren't your average corn-fed, twister-chasing, barbecue-loving Kansan kids, oh no! They are the Kansas Kobudo Crew, the quirkiest, most energetic, and amusingly odd group of martial art enthusiasts you'd ever have the pleasure of meeting. Leading this zany crew is their trusty sensei, a charmingly peculiar character named Kung-Fu Kenny. Now, don't be fooled by his name. Despite it sounding like he was named after a cartoon character, Kenny is a bona fide Kobudo master. His vast knowledge and skill are only matched by his fascinatingly unique sense of humor - imagine a cross between a stand-up comedian and a zen monk. The kids who are a part of the Kansas Kobudo Crew are as diverse as a rainbow and as lively as a field full of sunflowers dancing in the Kansas wind. There's Staring Steve, a boy who can make an onion cry with his intense gaze. Jumping Julie, so nimble she can hop over a tornado. Then there's Laughing Larry, our human version of a laughing hyena, but way more annoying. Every day, these kids gather to twirl bo staffs, swing nunchaku, and master the way of Kobudo, all under the watchful, ever-joking eye of Kung-Fu Kenny. Life is never dull in the heart of America when you're part of the Kansas Kobudo Crew!
