In the land of golden sunflowers and wheat fields that stretch as far as the eye can see, nestled in the heart of America, is the magical state of Kansas. Here, in the land of Wizard of Oz, a most unusual group of kids have found a way to kick their way into the spotlight and maybe, just maybe, prove that they have some magic in their feet too. The latest craze to take over the state's playgrounds, parks, and even barnyards is Kickboxing! Yes, you heard it right. Kickboxing! In a land known for its basketball, these feisty Kansas kids are bending it like Bruce Lee instead of dunking it like Jordan. Now, picture this: A ten-year-old with the energy of a tornado - let's call him Tornado Tommy, shall we? Tornado Tommy, with his haystack hair and cornfield-colored eyes, is the ringleader of this kickboxing brigade. He is as fearless as a Kansas cyclone and as quick as a prairie fox. Tommy and his gang of super kickboxers are stirring up quite a storm with their swift jabs and high kicks. Imagine the hilarious sight of them practicing their moves amidst the sunflowers! They're like kangaroos in overalls, bouncing around, throwing punches in the air, kicking at imaginary villains and laughing all the while. Poor old Scarecrow would have a heart attack if he saw them. If only he had a heart! And so, the Kansas Kickboxing Kids, led by Tornado Tommy, have become the coolest, quirkiest, funniest bunch of youngsters this side of the Mississippi. Don't let their innocent faces fool you, though. These kids could take on Bruce Lee in a heartbeat, well, in their dreams at least!
