In the heartland of America, where cornfields sway like a sea of gold and basketball hoops decorate every driveway, lies the spirited state of Indiana. But among the Hoosier state's many secrets is one that would make even the most stubborn ears perk up: the kids of Indiana are born singers! It's true! Maybe it’s something in the tap water, or perhaps it’s the whisper of the wind through the cornfields that tunes their vocal cords. Now, meet our cool imaginary character, Funky Freddie, a peanut butter-loving chipmunk with a voice smoother than the creamiest PB&J sandwich. Freddie is convinced that the best singers come from Indiana. When he's not belting out tunes from the top of a cornstalk, he’s zipping around the state, inspiring kids to discover their own singing talents. Freddie believes that every kid in Indiana has a unique voice. Some voices are as sweet as honey, others as powerful as a race car's engine at the Indianapolis 500. Funky Freddie’s mission is to make sure every Indiana kid finds their voice, from the bustling city of Indianapolis to the peaceful farmlands of the countryside. He organizes singing contests in treehouses, conducts choir practice at bus stops, even hosts spontaneous sing-alongs in the cereal aisle of the grocery store! Freddie thinks singing is the bee's knees, and he won't rest until every kid in Indiana is crooning, caroling, or at the very least, humming a catchy tune. So, buckle up for the ride, because in Indiana, the children's choir is about to get funky with Freddie!
