In the highly underrated state of Indiana, where cornfields stretch as far as the eyes can see and where the Indy 500 engines roar louder than a school of hippos with hiccups, a group of young adventurers are reaching for the sky – quite literally! These aren’t your ordinary, video-game-playing, cookie-devouring kids. They're the audacious Indiana Skydiving Squad, known as the Flying Corn Poppers! The leader of the gang is Rufus, a squirrel-sized boy with a head full of daring ideas and a heart full of courage. Don’t let his small stature fool you. He might be no taller than a stack of pancakes, but when it comes to skydiving, he soars higher than a cornstalk in July. Rufus, along with his fearless team, Plummeting Penny, Freefall Freddie, and Soaring Sarah, are always ready to leap into the vast Indiana sky. The moment that plane takes off from the endless fields, excitement fills the air, and the Flying Corn Poppers transform from regular Hoosier kids into skydiving superheroes. Their helmets glisten under the sun, backpacks puffed up with parachutes, and their eyes as bright as the sparkle on the Wabash River. As they plummet downward, they laugh harder than a hyena at a comedy club, flipping, turning, and somersaulting through the air, the wind whistling past their ears like a bluebird on a sugar rush. And when they land, they do so with a soft “pop!” just like the corn popping on a hot Indiana summer day. Ah, yes! There's never a dull moment when you are part of the Indiana Skydiving Squad, the Flying Corn Poppers!
