Once upon a time, in the far-off state of Idaho, where the potatoes grow as big as your head and the mountain peaks touched the sky, there was a group of extraordinary kids who loved nothing more than to grapple, twist, and turn in the noble art of Jiu Jitsu. These were not your average couch potato kids, oh no! These Idaho sprouts were fierce, nimble, and as tough as the state's famous spuds! Leading the bunch was a cool, imaginary character named Jitsy the Jiu Jitsu Potato. Don't let his starchy exterior fool you. Jitsy could flip, roll and dodge like no other. His unique peel, speckled with brown spots, would glisten as he moved with the grace of a well-cooked French fry, and the power of a fully-loaded baked potato. Jitsy was the spudly spirit of these Idaho Jiu Jitsu kids. Every morning, come rain or shine, these children would gather in their gis, with potato starch instead of chalk on their hands. They would tumble and toss, always inspired by their tuberous mentor, Jitsy. There was never a dull moment in their training, not even when they were peeling themselves off the mat. It was always "Mash Bash," "Spud Thud" or another of Jitsy's funny potato-themed moves. Yet, their laughter was never louder than when Jitsy, after showing a particularly vigorous move, would roll a bit too far and end up in a sack of potatoes with a cheerful "Well, I guess I'm in a real stew now!" In the grand expanse of Idaho, among the sprawling potato fields and towering mountains, Jiu Jitsu was not just a sport for these kids. It was an adventure, a dream, a dance, and most importantly, a chance to be a part of Jitsy's crazy, fun-filled, potato-loving world.
