In the gloriously potato-filled state of Idaho, nestled between the frosty peaks of its magnificent mountains and the roaring rush of its swirling rivers, there exists a bunch of cool kiddos who have mastered the art of surfing - yes, surfing in Idaho! They're led by a rad, funny, and imaginary character named Spud Surfer Sam. Sam, who is shaped like a potato, (since he's from Idaho of course), sports a pair of neon sunglasses and rides the waves on a surfboard shaped like a french fry. He’s a legend among the Idaho Imps, as the surfing kids are fondly called. He teaches them to surf the rivers and lakes, in a state most people would never dream of surfing. In spite of the absence of the sea, these Idaho Imps have taken to river and lake surfing like cheese to a potato. And boy, do they rule those waves! With their potato-print wetsuits, fries-shaped surfboards, and the daring spirit of a hundred hawks, they impress everyone who watches. While other kids might be riding bikes or playing video games, these Idaho Imps are out there, whooshing through the water, making the fish jealous and the ducks dizzy. They're the coolest kids in the state, if not the whole country, proving that with a little imagination and bravery, you can surf anywhere - even in the land of potatoes. And Spud Surfer Sam, with his wild potato antics and fry flips, leads them all in their grand, watery adventures!
