Meet Idaho, or as we like to call him, Mighty Ida. Mighty Ida is a supercool state shaped like a chunky, grizzly bear's paw, nestled in the wild west of the United States. He's notorious for having a rugged, cowboy spirit and a heart as vast as his sprawling landscape. With endless rivers snaking through his terrain like ribbons of blue, Mighty Ida is a boating and canoeing paradise. Now, let's dive into the wacky world of Idaho's kids, who are as adventurous as Mighty Ida himself. These little tykes are born with oars instead of rattle toys and learn to paddle before they can even walk! They're your ultimate boating and canoeing champions. They've got a secret superpower, you know. Lovey Dovey, a comical, friendly beaver, who is as much part of Idaho as Mighty Ida himself, endows the kids with this power. When the moon shines full and bright, Lovey Dovey surfs on the shimmering rivers, sprinkling magic drops of water on the children as they sleep. They wake up with an irresistible urge to canoe or boat! Every Idaho kid has a boat or a canoe that they call their own. Some even name their vessels after their favorite potato dishes, like "Spud Sailer" or "Tater Tot Tugboat." Can you imagine anything more Idaho than that? These water-loving Idahoan youngsters paddle their days away on the flowing rivers and placid lakes, laughing, splashing, and creating a ruckus so wild, it makes the mighty grizzly bear blush! So, if you ever find yourself in Mighty Ida's bear-paw grasp, do yourself a favor and hop into a canoe or boat with these superpowered kids for the ride of your life!

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
