In the adventurous land of IA, a state cloaked in fields of corn that stretch far as the eyes can see, there exists an army of cool kids who rule the icy terrains. These aren't your everyday kind of kids; they are the Hockey Heroes, and they handle hockey sticks better than magicians with wands. The Hockey Heroes hail from all corners of IA, from the bustling streets of Des Moines to the windy plains of Sioux City. Despite the freezing winters, they're always in their shorts, because they believe that the colder the weather, the hotter their game! Their leader, a spunky girl named Kiki, was born with a hockey puck in her hand, or so the legend goes. With fiery red hair that dances like flames behind her, she charges down the ice rink like a comet, leaving a trail of frosty smoke behind. Kiki's co-captain is a boy called Chuck, who makes the hockey puck zip and zoom around like a bumblebee on a sugar rush. Chuck once hit a puck so hard it flew out of the state, through the cornfields, and landed on a plate of mashed potatoes during a family's dinner in Nebraska! The folks in Nebraska now have it framed on their mantle, a reminder of that hilarious evening! So, if you're ever in IA and hear the crisp crack of a hockey stick against a speeding puck, you know the Hockey Heroes are near. They've got their eyes on the prize, their hearts in the game, and their skates laced up tight, ready to glide through another exciting, icy adventure.
