Somewhere in the heart of America, there's a state shaped like a sideways smile, where pigs out-populate people, and where cornfields stretch like a green ocean as far as the eye can see. Hello, folks! Welcome to Iowa or should I say, I-o-WOW-a! Now, Iowa isn't just about corn and pigs, you see. There's another fantastic thing that keeps the young, energetic Iowans on their toes - the great game of Futsal. You might be thinking, "Fut-what?" Let me introduce you to my imaginary friend, the fabulous Futsal Fox. Futsal Fox lives in the wild, wonderful woods of Iowa, but every day, he slips on his soccer cleats and bounds into town for a fast-paced game of futsal. This fox loves nothing more than a thrilling tussle and a good giggle, just like the kids of Iowa. With his fiery red fur, he's a flash of color as he darts around the court, chasing the small, low-bounce ball. The kids in Iowa who play futsal are as diverse as the wildflowers that bloom in the prairie. Some are as swift as the raccoons that raid the town's garbage cans at night, others as sturdy and determined as the state's famous bison. But they all share the same twinkling eyes and hearty laughter that rings out every time Futsal Fox scores a goal - which is often, given his foxy footwork. Just like Futsal Fox, these kids know how to take a tumble, laugh it off, and get right back into the game. Their spirits are as wide and open as Iowa's sky. Sure, things can get corny when the Fox starts telling his pun-laden jokes, but that's all part of the fun in fabulous Futsal-filled Iowa!
