Leading the charge among them is the greatest imaginary character you could think of - Maestro Maize! Maestro Maize, is a charming, top-hatted cornstalk with an ear for music. And yes, he's as corny as they come. He wields a conductor's baton that looks suspiciously like a corn dog and has a voice that's as smooth as creamed corn. With Maestro Maize at the helm, the Corn-Cob Crooners are a tuneful team of talented tykes. They're as diverse as the many types of corn you find in IA - some are sweet, some are poppy, and some are downright buttery. But when they come together, they create a symphony of sound that's as impressive as the tallest cornstalk in the field. You could say that in IA, music is as natural as a summer's breeze rustling through a cornfield. We are committed to making our educational opportunities available to as many children as possible, regardless of their location. We at Camp Lookout are counting down the days until the 2022 camping season officially begins! As we make the necessary preparations for this exciting summer, we invite all campers to join us in the adventure. We will not be requiring masks, so campers should be sure to bring their unique personalities and a willingness to participate.
