In the spectacularly sizzling state of Georgia, where peaches grow plumper than a panda's belly and the sun shines brighter than a firefly's flicker, a unique group of kids partake in an incredible adventure every day. They are not just ordinary kids, oh no! They are the Wordsmith Whiz Kids, a quirky crew of young writers with imaginations bigger than the colossal canopy of the Okefenokee Swamp. Every day, under the watchful eye of the evergreen trees, these extraordinary littles summon the magic of words and embark on wild adventures. They weave stories as flavorful as a bowl of Brunswick stew, with the magic of their pens. And let me introduce you to their captain, our toothy-grinned hero, Scribbles McWordster. With his freckled, sun-kissed face, messy mop of hair, and pockets full of jellybeans for thinking fuel, he leads the Wordsmith Whiz Kids in their journey through the mystical world of words. Scribbles is a bit of a rascal, always with a mischievous twinkle in his eye. He can make a story out of anything, even a squirrel scurrying up a tree, or the equally spellbinding activity of watching paint dry. He believes that the only thing better than a freshly baked peach pie is a freshly penned tale. Ah, indeed, the state of Georgia is more than just its sweet tea and Southern charm; it is home to a bunch of kids who know how to take you to faraway lands, while sitting under the vast Georgian sky, with nothing but their words. Their stories, like fireflies, light up the Georgia night, leaving trails of laughter, gasps and a whole lot of awesomeness. So, grab a pen, a notebook, and your wildest imagination, and join Scribbles McWordster and the Wordsmith Whiz Kids as they transform the ordinary into the extraordinary one word at a time.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
