Welcome to the sun-kissed, alligator-infested, orange-juice-filled wonderland that is Florida! In this state where the sun always shines, except when it's raining cats and dogs during hurricane season, lives a fun-loving gang of kids who are simply crazy about skating! They call themselves "The Florida Flip-Flops" because they flip and flop all over their skateboards with wild abandon and a fearlessness that would make a stuntman quake in his boots. The leader of these thrill-seekers is a spiky-haired daredevil named Sunny, thanks to his equally spiky disposition and his ability to brighten up any gloomy day. Sunny has a pet flamingo named Pinky who loves to balance on one leg atop Sunny’s skateboard while he races through the park, dodging palm trees and gawping tourists! Together, Sunny and his Flip-Flops crew are always up to something. Whether they're sliding down the sandy dunes of Miami Beach, weaving through the bustling streets of Orlando, or trying to outrun a curious alligator in the Everglades (which isn't recommended, by the way), they make sure to take their skateboards everywhere they go. In Florida, where the oranges grow as big as your head and the dolphins chatter louder than Aunt Patty at Thanksgiving dinner, you'll find the Florida Flip-Flops. They're a merry band of skaters who live for the thrill of the ride, the feel of the wind whooshing past their ears, and the resounding clatter of wheels on the pavement. So, if you're ever in the Sunshine State, watch out for a whizzing skateboard with a flamingo on top – it's probably Sunny and his Flip-Flops crew!
