For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.

Tae Kwon-Do is as much an art as it is a martial art, and its graceful movements can be admired and appreciated. In addition to the physical benefits of learning Tae Kwon-Do, there is a spiritual element as well. The philosophy of Tae Kwon-Do encourages self-restraint, kindness and humility. Traditional Tae Kwon-Do differs from modernized forms and other martial arts in several ways. Free sparring does not involve any physical contact, the training is more aerobic, and the emphasis is on each student’s individual progress rather than competition with their peers. This makes Tae Kwon-Do a great choice for children who want to learn martial arts in a safe and non-competitive environment.

After moving to the Treasure Coast of Florida in 2003, Sifu Ritter opened his first school and quickly outgrew the existing space. In 2005, Sifu Ritter moved to a much larger facility and has been teaching a variety of martial arts and self-defense classes for children and adults ever since. Sifu Kevin Ritter is dedicated to providing parents and their children with the skills and confidence needed to stay safe. His “Keep Your Kids Safe” Abduction Awareness program is one of the many ways he works to promote safety among his students. He has been teaching Shaolin Kung Fu for over 25 years and has been on the Treasure Coast of Florida for the past 15 years. With his extensive experience and commitment to safety, Sifu Ritter is a reliable source for self-defense and discipline for children.

As soon as you walk through the door, you'll be greeted by our friendly staff who will help you fill out a short waiver and make sure you are properly attired with a free loaner uniform.
