Delaware, or as our cool imaginary character, Turbo Turtle, loves to call it, "The Mighty Mini-State," is a tiny treasure trove teeming with tons of fun! This delightful state may be itty-bitty, but it is chock-full of personality, much like Turbo Turtle himself. He is a super-fast snappy turtle, who, despite his small size, is known for his big heart and even bigger karate kicks - a perfect mascot for our Tiny but Mighty Delaware! Cheering from the sidelines, Turbo Turtle loves watching the fiercely determined Delaware kids practice their Taekwondo moves. Bruce Lee could have taken lessons from these kids! They punch, kick, and leap with an energy that even Turbo Turtle finds hard to keep up with. They're small, but boy, they're mighty, just like their beautiful home state. Turbo Turtle is always amazed by how these Delaware dynamos can become as peaceful as the serene Delaware Bay one moment and as fierce as the Colonial Blue Hen the next. Their Taekwondo uniforms flap like the wings of the state bird as they whirl and twirl, landing their kicks just like Turbo Turtle lands on his favorite sunbathing rock - swift and precise! Turbo Turtle finds it hilarious when these pint-sized powerhouses yell out their "Kihap!" - the Taekwondo shout. It echoes around the dojang, startling the sparrows out of the trees and making Turbo Turtle nearly drop his delicious Delaware peach! Despite the initial shock, Turbo Turtle can't help but giggle at the powerhouse cries echoing from such small bodies. So, whether you're big or small, remember - in Delaware, and in Taekwondo, it's not about the size, it's about the spirit. And as Turbo Turtle says, "Size is no barrier to being mighty!"
