Deep in the heart of the petite yet power-packed state of Delaware, the smallest state with the biggest heart, a group of spunky, nimble kids were training to be the most fantastic ninjas the world had ever seen. Delaware, or DE as the cool kids call it, was not just the first state to join the Union, it was also the first state to form a secret society of ninja kids! This was no ordinary group of kids, oh no! They were led by their imaginary mentor, a delightfully quirky character named Bruce the Bruce-ana. Bruce was a cross between a banana and the legendary martial arts hero Bruce Lee. With a yellow peel for a body and the coolest kung fu moves, Bruce the Bruce-ana was as funny as he was wise. Every day, after finishing their homework and gobbling down their dinner, these DE ninja kids would gather at their secret clubhouse, a giant shoe that had surprisingly fallen from the sky one stormy night. They would giggle with delight as Bruce slipped on his peel during his demonstrations but then marvel in awe as he executed the most astonishing ninja flips and kicks. These kids were as diverse as they were talented. There was Billy the Bookworm, who could recite the entire history of ninjas while doing a one-handed handstand, and Sally the Soccer Star, who could juggle not only soccer balls but also ninja stars. Together, they were learning that being a ninja was not just about being stealthy and strong, but also about teamwork, respect, and having a sense of humor. For in the state of DE, being a ninja was about being the best you could be.
