Once upon a time, in the charming state of Connecticut, nestled between New York and Rhode Island, lived a group of extraordinary kids known as the "Splashtacular Swimmers". Connecticut, a magical land of endless beauty, wrapped in a sparkling blanket of autumn leaves, snow-dusted winters, blooming springs and sunlit summers, was the perfect place for these water wizards. These kids weren't just any ordinary swimmers; they were Connecticut's greatest, splashing their way through every river, lake, and pool that could fit their flippers. Their leader, a buoyant boy named Bob, was no bigger than a beluga but swam quicker than a quokka can climb. Bob had a slick, shiny head which he claimed made him swim faster. The Splashtacular Swimmers could be found at sunrise, cutting through the calm waters of the Connecticut River like hot knives through ice cream. They held races in Lake Compounce, leaving trails of laughter and light-hearted competition in their wake. Even during the chilly winter days, they'd plunge into the indoor pools, their chattering teeth turned into roars of laughter once they were under the heated water. They were a diverse group, hailing from the bustling cities of Hartford and New Haven, the tranquil countryside of Litchfield Hills, and the shoreline towns of Mystic and New London. But despite their different backgrounds, they all shared one thing in common: a love for swimming that was as deep as the Long Island Sound itself. One might say the Splashtacular Swimmers were as much a part of Connecticut as its lush green landscapes, picturesque lighthouses, and delightful lobster rolls. Indeed, the state wouldn't be quite the same without Bob and his band of buoyant buddies, who splashed their way right into the heart of Connecticut.

Since our inception in 2018, we have been the proud USA National Office for the acclaimed World Robot Olympiad, a global robotics competition that has over 35,000 participants from more than 80 countries. We're delighted to be connected with several of the most prominent STEM competition organizations. Our primary learning center is nestled in the heart of Naperville, IL. However, we understand the importance of accessibility and have therefore expanded our reach. We offer our well-rounded programs at a range of locations including schools, community centers, park districts, libraries, and even religious institutions. We are committed to making our educational opportunities available to as many children as possible, regardless of their location. KenMont Camp for Boys, KenWood Camp for Girls, established in 1924. Each summer, boys and girls ages 8 – 15 come to Kent, Connecticut for the best summer ever! KenMont is the brother camp of KenWood Camp for Girls — a completely separate camp with its own facilities and staff. Together, the two camps operate under the leadership of director, Hylton Wener. Different from co-ed, the boys spend 90% of their time with other boys. It’s like going to a boys’ camp, but better! There are two 4-week sessions each summer. It’s a complete camp experience including special event days and Color War. Campers in each session arrive together and leave together, fostering the optimal social dynamic for camp living and the development of friendships. KenMont and KenWood Camp provides a sleepaway experience for campers, family and staff that focus on physical, emotional and social accomplishments. Our team models a strong sense of character and the ability to accept challenges that help build life skills, independence and personal growth. We carry with us KenMont and KenWood’s traditions and memories as a guide to live, share and connect as part of our community.
