The kids of this magical place have a passion as high as the Rocky Mountains, which they happen to be neighbors with. They are energetic, adventurous, and spirited but more than anything, they are judo-obsessed! Every morning, as the sun peeks over the Mount Elbert, the tallest peak in Colorado, a strange and hilarious character, Sensei Chuckles, wakes up the kids with a loud and hearty laugh that echoes through the valleys. Sensei Chuckles, who was once a grizzly bear but turned into a judo master after a magical snowstorm, runs the biggest judo academy in the kingdom. All the children in Colorado, or should I say, "The Judo Kid Kingdom," are his students. They roll out of their beds, not with groans and yawns like regular kids, but with a judo chop and a giggle. They hustle to the academy, eager to learn new moves, full of enthusiasm and excitement, and with noodles for belts around their waists. Why noodles? Well, because Sensei Chuckles believes that if you can keep your noodle belt from breaking during intense judo sessions, then you're truly a master of the art! He also believes that a good laugh and a bowl of noodles after a day of judo are essential for his students. Here in the "Judo Kid Kingdom," the kids of Colorado tumble, roll, laugh, sometimes munch on their noodle belts, but most importantly, they help each other become better at judo and life every day!
