Once upon a time, in the sunny state of California, perched on the western edge of the United States, where the ocean waves danced and the palm trees swayed, there lived a gang of kids who had a great passion for gymnastics. They were not your ordinary, everyday kids. Oh, no! They were the "Gymnast Gurus," a bunch of lively, energetic, and amiable young folks who could leap through the air, do somersaults and cartwheels like a breeze. The leader of the Gymnast Gurus was a sprightly girl named Clara who had twirly hair as golden as the California sun and a spirit as bright as the Hollywood stars. Clara was known for her spectacular round-offs and back handsprings, but she had a little secret. Every time she performed a perfect flip, she would mysteriously turn into a cartoonish superheroine named "Flip Fantastic." With a sparkly cape and pink gymnastic leotard, she would bend, twist, jump, and flip with such grace and power that even the legendary gymnasts would gasp in awe. The other Gymnast Gurus were as diverse as California itself. There was Danny, a freckle-faced boy with a permanent grin who could balance on one hand longer than a Hollywood movie. And there was Mia, a sharp-eyed girl with the flexibility of a rubber band who could stretch her legs in ways that would make a flamingo blush! No matter where they were - at the golden beaches, under the towering redwoods, or in the hustle and bustle of the city streets - these California kids would always find time for their gymnastics.
