Freddie and his fearless friends are the superheroes of this Aerial Arts world. Suspended from silken scarves, they spin, flip, and twirl, defying gravity and making the audience's hearts pound faster than a rabbit in a marathon. Rubi and Yolanda Reyes opened Art Flying Yoga in Walteria, Torrance in 2012 and the business quickly became a success. In 2014, their brother Manuel, along with brothers Nick and Enrique, opened up Art Flying Aerial in Lomita to expand the aerial business, and in 2016 Art Flying Yoga moved into the Art Flying Aerial building. Manuel serves as the face of the business, answering customer questions, while Nick and Enrique co-manage. The Reyes family also offers a variety of artistic services from Rubi’s aerial programs and teacher trainings to Yolanda’s belly dance and Zumba classes. Their mother can often be found in their outdoor zen garden cooking up some delicious treats or crafting jewelry in their in-house boutique.
