Once upon a time, in the sizzling, sun-soaked state of Arizona, there was a group of kids who loved nothing more than twisting and turning into all sorts of crazy yoga positions. They were known across the land for replacing traditional playground games with a more balanced and bendy form of fun. In the midst of the grand cacti and the red sandstone formations, you could always spot one of them standing on one leg, looking like a peculiar desert flamingo. Their leader, a tall kid with freckles sprinkled across his nose, was named Yogi Benny. Yogi Benny was a cool cucumber, a real yogi prodigy. He could balance on his head with one leg in the air even when a wild Gila monster was doing a tango around him. And you'd always catch him wearing his cowboy boots; he said they helped him 'stay grounded'. Now, these Arizona yoga kids were not your everyday lot. They would salute the sun before breakfast, and do the cobra pose to scare off real desert snakes. They could even do the tree pose atop actual Saguaro cacti without so much as a single "Ouch!" However, the funniest sight was when they tried to imitate the pose of the armadillo. A tumble of giggles would ripple across the desert as they rolled around in the sand, getting stuck in the most hilarious shapes. In the land of Arizona, where the sun sets in a blaze of glory, Yoga was no longer just a quiet exercise. It was the most rollicking, toe-tickling, belly-laughing adventure that any kid could ever have.
