In the great state of Arkansas, nestled snugly between the Mississippi River and the craggy peaks of the Ozarks, there exists a unique tribe of youngsters known as the Tune Spinners. These are no ordinary kids, oh no; each one possesses an incredible secret power. They can pluck notes out of thin air and weave them together into songs so catchy, even your granny’s pet parrot would be whistling the tune! The Tune Spinners spend their days roaming the sun-dappled fields, the emerald-green woods, and the shines-like-a-silver-mirror lakes of AR, always on the lookout for new melodies. Their leader is Benny the Beat Bandit, a 10-year-old with a freckle-faced smile as wide as the Arkansas River and an unruly mop of hair that dances in the southern breeze. Benny, much like a melodious magician, with the strum of his adventure-worn guitar, can transform the simplest Arkansas sounds into magical musical notes. A bullfrog’s croak becomes a smooth bassline, a cicada’s buzz morphs into a jazzy saxophone solo, and the patter of the Ozark raindrops on a tin roof? Well, that’s our Benny's favorite percussion! You may think that this is all nonsense, a mere tale spun by an old raconteur. But travel to the heart of AR, when the southern sun is just dipping below the horizon, painting the sky with hues of oranges and purples. Listen closely, and you'll hear a rhythm, a melody, a song that fills the air. That's Benny and his band of Tune Spinners, crafting another musical masterpiece from the sounds of Arkansas.
