Once upon a time, in the square-shaped, chicken-loving state of Arkansas, known to its friends as AR (because typing Arkansas over and over can give your fingers a real workout), there was a group of kids who had an unusual hobby. They were into boxing, but not the kind with boring old cardboard boxes. No, these kids believed in the power of the glove and the glory of the ring. The leader of this quirky crew was a kid called Boxy Benny. Now, Benny wasn't your average Joe. He had a head shaped like a boxing glove, due to a hilarious mishap involving a melon, a beehive, and a really, really tight hat. Ever since that day, Benny had been very good at boxing. He could bob and weave and duck and dive like a jackrabbit on roller-skates. Benny and his buddies would gather at the local gym, 'The Punching Poultry', named after AR's famous yard birds. Here, they'd lace up their gloves, doing a funny chicken-dance as they hopped on one foot, then the other. Benny would lead them in their training, throwing jabs, hooks, and uppercuts, all while clucking like chickens, just for the fun of it. Their boxing trainer, a former featherweight champion named Rooster Robinson, watched them with a twinkle in his eye, occasionally shouting, "Flutter those feathers, kids!" They loved their boxing, and their boxing loved them. In AR, Boxy Benny and his clucking crew of fowl-loving fighters were the talk of the town, and they wouldn't have had it any other way. They knew life was more fun when you danced (or boxed) to the beat of your own chicken drumstick!
