Once upon a time, in the melodious state of Arkansas, a group of kids with magical musical powers were known as the 'Tune Titans'. These little punks were no ordinary children, they could strum guitars before they learned to walk and were belting out high notes before they mastered their ABC's. Arkansas, or AR as the Tune Titans called it, was a land brimming with enchanting forests, captivating mountains, and roaring rivers. The mornings were greeted by the sweet symphony of the wind brushing through the colossal pine trees, while the nights were serenaded by the hooting of playful owls. AR was the perfect symphony of nature and the Tune Titans were its dedicated conductors. The Tune Titans were much loved by everyone in AR. They were a pack of twelve, led by the hilarious and ever-energetic, Banjo-Benny. Benny, with his wild hair and crooked grin, played the banjo like a wizard weaves spells. He had a peculiar habit of strumming his banjo while hopping on one foot. He said it helped him keep the rhythm. No one questioned Benny, but it certainly added a sprinkle of laughter to any performance. Then there was Harmonica-Holly, the youngest of them all, who played the harmonica like a seasoned maestro. She had a wild imagination and thought that her harmonica was a magical dragon that breathed music instead of fire. Just like Benny and Holly, every Tune Titan was a unique maestro. Together, they filled the air of AR with a magical melody that made even the grumpiest grouch tap their foot and sway to the beat. The Tune Titans of AR were not just musicians; they were little heroes, fighting off gloom with their powerful tunes. The Music of AR was always in safe, albeit tiny, hands.

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
