Once upon a time, in the wonderful state of Alabama, where the cotton blooms like popcorn and the southern charm is thicker than grandma's grits, lived a bunch of super cool kids. They were the water skiing wizards of AL, and their leader was a comically large pelican named Percy. Percy Pelican, with his sun-bleached feathers and oversized orange beak, was an expert in water skiing. He spent his days fluttering around the Boldly Beautiful Bays of AL, teaching the children the art of water-skiing. The kids, or 'Percy's Paddlers' as they were known, were a diverse bunch. Some small as squirrels, others tall as cypresses, but all brave as mountain lions. They would strap on their water skis, grip their tow ropes, and follow Percy's instructions to glide across the water like dolphins jumping waves. From the crackle-dawn breakfasts to the sugary sweet sunsets, these water-loving whippersnappers would ski until their laughter echoed across the bay. Percy would follow them in his hilarious, bathtub-sized ski, his broad wings flapping wildly and his large feet leaving a massive wake. They would ski through the shimmering rainbows created by the spray, and at times, even race with the mischievous river otters. And so, life in AL was filled with sunny skies, warm waters, and the happy hoots of water skiing kids. Whether they were doing backflips, crisscrossing under the rainbow, or just enjoying the ride, each day ended with tired bodies, happy hearts, and Percy's booming laughter that could shake even the sturdiest of Cypress trees. Ah, Alabama, where the sun shone bright, and the water skiers shone brighter!
