The great state of Alaska, also known as AK, is the frosty playground of the cool, adventurous, and somewhat nutty character, Puck the Polar Bear. Now Puck isn’t your typical polar bear; he's a skilled hockey player who sports neon sunglasses and a jazzy jersey with the number 49 – an homage to Alaska, the 49th state! Here, in the land of sparkling glaciers and towering mountains, endless daylight in the summer, and magical aurora borealis in the winter, Puck patrols the ice rinks. He's always ready for a quick game of hockey with the local kids, who are some of the best and bravest hockey players in the whole USA. You see, in Alaska, kids don't just sip hot cocoa and build snowmen. Oh no, they strap on their skates, and with a whoosh and a zoom, they dart across the icy expanse like miniature rockets. Puck loves to watch them play, their cheeks rosy with cold and excitement, their eyes sparkling brighter than the northern lights. He often joins in, and even though he slips and slides more than he strides (polar bears are much better swimmers than skaters!), he adds a touch of wild, wobbly fun. He can make the puck glide as smooth as a seal through water, but he’s most famous for his wacky 'snowstorm spin,' which sends everyone, including himself, tumbling down in a fit of laughter.
