Let me tell you about the wondrous state of AK or, as you might know it, Alaska! It's the home of polar bears, glaciers, and of course, the silliest and most acrobatic puffins you’ve ever seen, especially Pippin the Prancing Puffin. Now, Pippin is no ordinary puffin, no sir! He’s an honorary member of the Alaskan Kid’s Gymnastics Squad, a group of extraordinarily bouncy, bendy, and brave children who can twist and twirl like nobody’s business. Pippin, with his comically round belly and brightly colored beak, is their hilarious and also surprisingly nimble mascot. These Alaskan kids aren't just brave because they can do backflips on a balance beam, or because they dare to spin around on high bars. No, they're brave because they keep practicing, even when it's so cold outside their breath turns into tiny snowflakes! They practice in the morning when the sun is just a sleepy head peeking over the mountains and they are still yawning. They practice at night, when the enchanting northern lights are dancing in the sky and most kids are fast asleep in their cozy beds. And Pippin? He’s right there with them, sliding on his belly across the icy gym floor, flapping his wings for balance, and tumbling head over tail feathers with a squawk of glee. The kids giggle and cheer, and they all keep practicing, pushing each other to be the best they can be. Because in Alaska, it doesn't matter if you're a kid or a puffin, if you're willing to tumble, you're part of the team!
